POLICIES & ORDER TERMS
These conditions apply to Hawaii Materials Co. quotations, invoices, and supply agreements.
ORDERING & DELIVERY GUIDANCE
Use the guidance below to prepare your material request, understand the supply process, and organize receipt of your shipment.
Our supply model is built around full-container orders for commercial developments, resorts, infrastructure, and other large projects across Hawaii and the Pacific. Small retail purchases and partial shipments are not available.
Prepare a detailed material list with quantities, project information, and the delivery location. These details allow our team to assess sourcing options, container loading, and the logistics needed for your project.
We begin by reviewing the project and its material requirements. We then plan container loads around availability and freight efficiency before preparing a quote covering materials, freight coordination, and estimated delivery timing.
After the order moves into production and allocation, materials are sourced, prepared, and loaded through our supplier network. Shipping and project delivery are then coordinated with the receiving team.
Pricing can move with material costs, freight charges, and exchange rates until the order is formally accepted and confirmed in writing. Review the written quotation before proceeding.
Product type, order volume, destination, and jobsite accessibility affect the supply and delivery plan. Discuss these details during quoting so the proposed arrangements reflect your project.
A deposit is required before production and material allocation begin. The remaining balance must be paid before the shipment is released. Confirm the payment amounts for your order with the supply team.
Bulk-order payments are accepted by ACH or wire transfer. Credit cards are not accepted.
Typical lead times are approximately 60–120 days. The actual schedule depends on the materials ordered, supplier production, and shipping conditions.
Delivery dates supplied with a quote are estimates, not guaranteed arrival dates. Account for this when coordinating construction phases and discussing your target schedule with our team.
We coordinate international freight, container logistics, and project delivery support. Port congestion, customs processing, weather, and carrier scheduling can affect arrival times.
Delivery arrangements and project-related costs vary with the shipment and destination. Share the receiving location and site-access requirements during planning so the delivery route and unloading arrangements can be discussed in advance.
Where applicable, customers are responsible for unloading containers and returning them promptly. Related demurrage, detention, and container-return penalties are the customer’s responsibility.
Before arrival, coordinate the receiving team, unloading arrangements, and container-return requirements. Timely preparation helps avoid preventable delays at the delivery location.
Inspect the delivery when it arrives. Record any damage or shortages on the delivery paperwork at the time of receipt and take photographs documenting the issue.
Submit claims within 48 hours of delivery. Keep the photographs and annotated delivery paperwork together when reporting the problem to our team.
Orders are final. Because materials are supplied in bulk and may be custom-produced, returns and cancellations are not accepted once production has started.
Review the material list, quantities, and project requirements carefully before proceeding. Raise any questions with the supply team before production begins.
These policies apply to Hawaii Materials Co. quotations, invoices, and material supply agreements. Read them alongside the documentation provided for your specific order.
